so i get kinda conflicted about gushing on the topic of make up. i most certainly don't have the patience to wear this shit every day, but i find it a thrill to try new stuff... and it just verges on some sort of topsy-turvy drag that few people want to understand yadda yadda yadda...

well that aside....

i helped out at the Toronto Makeup Show... and by help, I mean i pointed and zoomed a camera... and changed out the tapes. which, my GOD, who ever designed that camera should be shot. so no big of the deal. but we got a chance to cruise around vendors who're there for people who are professionals. wheeee! i will post the pics i took there when i get them off of steph's camera.

the one thing i bought was this:

it's a line of make up that's pure loose powder. it's supposed to be the most natural/non-scary chemical based make up. you can use it for eye shadow... use a dab of clear nail polish and it colours it... mix it in with some clear lip gloss and instant colour. yes i'm sucked into this shit so easily. this is the one set i got for $25. something tells me this would cost a shitload more outside of a trade show...




it's tough to put on... i don't think i accomplished what i wanted to do... i didn't like the brown/tan one as much as the green... er, whatever. test run number 1.
